Epic Eagles delivered a stellar performance of the classic hits, with authentic instrumentation and spot-on harmonies. A world-class act! ” - Nashwaak Music Festival 2019
Epic Eagles were true professionals in every sense of the term. Our festival was filled to capacity with anticipation and these gentleman delivered. The harmonies on hit after hit from the first song to the last had our crowd singing along the whole evening. We’ve already had requests for us to have them back. And we will!!” - Bobby Orr, Event Chairman, Brockville Ribfest

The House Was A’ Rockin: Epic Eagles

The Cheboygan Opera House by Kathy King Johnson

(Excerpt) "When the Epic Eagles moved off the backline, picked up their guitars and lined up on the front of the stage, I was transported back to the time I saw the original Eagles for the second time in 1994. It was after a 14 year break up in a reunion tour so unexpected it was called “Hell Freezes Over.” The heat and humidity rose from the field at Houston’s Rice Stadium as the sun went down, maybe 70,000 people in the bleachers. The cool of the night washed over us. The band sat down in a row of chairs with seven guitars. It was Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Don Felder, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit. I am pretty sure the seventh guitarist was J.D. Souther who sat in as a guest singer on a song he co-wrote: “The Heart of the Matter” or “Forgiveness.” The harmonies were so tight, the voices of many became one, and something greater was created, something that elevates the soul and speaks to a higher power.

The Epic Eagles took us to the same place...."

I had the pleasure of working on our Town board for Midnight Madness. I hired Epic Eagles and they were impressive from booking through the entire process. Now, the performance!!! They are amazing. I am a huge Eagles fan, these guys are the real deal!! EPIC EAGLES is a great band and nail it!!° Thanks guys!! Bolton and myself loved you!!!! ” - Bolton Midnight Madness- Linda Nusca-Albertyn
Epic Eagles will blow your mind. I have seen them several times and have had the pleasure of producing a Show with them and will definitely work with them again on future projects. Down to earth guys.....A real class Act.” - Cyndi Turner Promotions
Just near the end of the nearly two hour long concert on Sunday night by the cover band, “Epic Eagles” a light rainfall started. But, it did not deter concert-goers on the main track. The five man band was phenomenal. Their musicality was impressive. The harmonies were melodious and sharp. Each member could sing and play multiple instruments. The last song of the regular set was “Hotel California”. The audience sang along as the song progressed. A two song encore followed the cheering end to the regular set.The band commented on the response of the audience and said they would like to return at some point and the loud clapping of the audience further endorsed the band’s reception and an acknowledgement of their immense talent....” - Article by Louise Smith

REVIEWS of Dean Young eagles | Don Henley prior tribute performances

" What a wonderful night.” Over 7,900 people enjoyed your performance I will never forget (the) Best of My Love…your work on Last Resort is incredible …”  - Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater, College Station TX

“Performed Friday evening in Camrose at the Best Western Plus Camrose Resort Casino (sold-out) with drummer, Dean Young’s jaw-dropping, Henley-sound-alike vocals setting the bar high for the rest of the evening…”  - The Community Press, Alberta

"Young is the closest thing Hotel California has to The Eagles. If audience members had closed their eyes, it would have been hard for them to distinguish his voice and drum-work from that of the originals.”  - John North, Asheville Daily Planet, North Carolina

"Dean Young, on drums (*and vocals), kept the Stockey Centre rockin' during the second half with Don Henley's number Dirty Laundry…” - Huntsville Forrester, Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts, Parry Sound ON

“Playing a sold-out show tonight at the Lancaster Opera House in Lancaster. One of the principals in the group is Canadian drummer/singer Dean Young who many say sounds exactly like Don Henley… the amazing vocals of drummer Dean Young that really gives the band the true “Eagles” sound...Yes, he is that good!”  - John LaMond, WYRK, Re: Lancaster Opera House, NY

“Opened the show with “The Long Run,” with drummer Dean Young singing a masterful version of Henley’s vocals.”  - Norwalk 2011

Guestbook

We invite you to share your experiences here!

Friends could not understand why we would drive from Fort Erie to Oshawa to see a show that we've seen many times before.  But the trip was well worth it as the show was amazing.  The acoustics in the Regent are excellent and we could hear every word crystal clear.  It was most interesting to hear the comments around us from fans who have never heard your band.  After the first couple songs I often heard "these guys are really good!".  Every song was spectacular and the crowd was electrified by the music.

I'm sure you often look back to your idea to put this group together and how far you have come but a show like we saw on Friday is simply world-class in every way.  The travelling, time away from families, rehearsals, logistics takes it's toll but I want you to know from a fans perspective how much we enjoy and appreciate your shows.

We have sen the Eagles in concert more than once but the ability to hear the same songs a little more up-close-and-personal makes your shows a real treat.

Congrats again on a great show but most important the success you've enjoyed across Canada, on the seas and Caribbean!

Thanks again for a great evening!
